• Once the tent is set up check a few things.  If there is a rain fly, put this on top of the tent.  Stake down the tent.  Put the inside tarp inside the tent.
• One trick is to bring an old shower curtain and use it as a front porch for your cabin tent.  Place it slightly under the tent in front of your door, and weight down the corners with large rocks, pieces of firewood, etc.  This way you have a clean place to remove your shoes prior to entering your cabin tent.  This will keep your tent floor clean.  Keep a small whisk broom just inside your tent door and give your shoes a quick brush outside, and them bring them inside to stay spider free!
