There is a wide variety of folding campers available for purchase today. One important consideration in the purchase selection considerations of a folding camper is the setup. Here’s a folding camper setup video for Fleetwood folding campers, using a hand crank to raise the solid Fleetwood folding camper roof, and a hand crank to level the folding camper once set up. This demonstration of the setup involves one adult for all the installation requirements of the folding camper. The video clearly shows the benefits of the crank system for the folding camper! (Also well known as a “pop-up camper” or “popup camper trailer.”)

THANK YOU, RENE’ TYLER. A VIDEO WOULD HELP TOO
Hi Rene,
I’m glad you liked the Fleetwood trailer set up video! I’ll ask Fleetwood if they’ve made a comporable take down and store video! Love your comment, you’re not “older” you’re “wiser”!! I’ve found a great video demonstrating the process to take down a folding camper, and this might help – http://foldingcamper.org/folding-camper-take-down-and-store/ . You might print the instructions of this post on how to set it up and see if it makes sense in th breakdown. Just remember to have your bottle of gentle cleaner and roll of paper towels on hand to clean up any bird messes or tree sap prior to sweeping the dust and debris off the canvas, this will keep it nice for you. Check you manufacturers instructions on storage, it’s possible that yours is the type that the roof is not affected by UV and could be stored without a tarp, please do check.
