Jamestown Limited 1 Sided Pull Out Pop Up Camper Trailer

'83 or '84 Jamestown Limited 1 sided pop out trailer

Here’s the perfect camper for the small family – a rare tiny camper, the smallest model pop-up camper you can find!  My niece and her husband just bought this camper, it’s their first camper…  I didn’t ask them what the blue book camper would be, but I was curious!  Quite a step up from tent camping, and with two small boys they can really use the ease of their new home away from home!

Jeni said “It’s the tiniest popup you ever saw. ’83 or ’84 Jamestown Limited. Only one side pops out. We’re soooo excited!”  Well I’m very happy for them!!  Hope to meet up with them and go camping together soon!
Has anyone else ever heard of a small pop-up tent camper by Jamestown?  This 83 or 84 Jamestown Limited Popup is a great popup for starting out.

      Hi Kathy,
Are you looking to do this work yourself, so you’d need materials, or would you like to have someone do it for you?

We have the same camper, a Jamestown pop up in which only the front slides out. I am looking to see if anyone knows what is behind the front paneling before I tear it up to look. I want to install a window air conditioner there. Thanks! Rick

I have an 1984 Jamestown too – we’ve named him “Little Jimmy” – and he loves to go out camping! I got a replacement canvas thru Bear Creek Canvas – you can find them online – it fit perfectly, and I was able to put it in almost by myself – just needed another pair of hands to hold it up. It took me longer to do it, but once I figured it out, it wasnt too bad. I ended up loosening a screw at the end of a track, and sliding it right on. Some had to be wedged into the track, but not bad. A second pair of hands is helpful.! Good luck!
