The trip started off with our old canvas beach chairs, but one of them ripped right down the middle. Restraining myself from grabbing the duct tape and camping knife, two of my top three items on my camping checklist, I decided it was time to replace those ratty old folding camp chairs!  Seeing that we needed another set of REAL camping chairs, I went down to the local store to get a new set. The Coleman set in the store was the best looking version, so I popped a new set into the car for the trip back up the mountain. After using these for a few days, we made the trip back to the store to buy a set for our camping friends as well. They had seen us using ours, and wanted a set of their own.

Another thing that I love about the Coleman chairs is that you don’t have to worry about getting them wet.  Even though I sat in the middle of a stream with my chair, I simply pulled it out and leaned it against the tent for a while. The sun dried out the lightweight canvas quickly, and it was no worse for wear. The same chair also got a quick washing the next day from my wife when she saw a few fishguts on the seat from when I was cleaning them.  I’m sure she’ll start talking to me again soon!  LOL!

All in all, they’ve been a great buy and we love them so far. Coleman camping chairs rock!  Don’t forget to add camping chairs to your camping checklist!

These are also great chairs to have handy if you have extra people to your home and not enough chairs. The price can range from around ten dollars to higher depending on the style and design of your camping chair. Make sure to add these to your camping equipment and always have a clean dry place to sit when camping, fishing or sporting.

Take an inventory of your camping equipment at the beginning of the camping season, and update any worn or broken camping items.  You will also want an end of camping season checklist, while your recent camping trips are fresh on your mind!  The end of the season is a great time to pick up bargains on all camping equipment and supplies, and don’t forget to upgrade your folding chairs!
